Africa has been plagued by numerous security challenges in recent times. From ethnic clashes to terrorism, there seems to be no end in sight for the continent. 

One of the major factors contributing to this alarming state of insecurity is the insensitivity of African leaders to the needs of their citizens.

How has African leaders' insensitivity contributed to the people's uncivilized approach to requesting their needs, which has caused uproar in most African states?

One of the major factors contributing to the insecurity in most African states is the insensitivity of African leaders to the needs of their citizens. African leaders have become more focused on their personal interests than the needs of the people they were elected to serve. 

Some African leaders have completely abandoned their duties to provide basic amenities such as water, shelter, and electricity, to their citizens. This situation has left many African citizens vulnerable, and they have become easy prey for criminals and terrorists. 

The failure of African leaders to provide basic amenities has created a breeding ground for criminal activities and further insecurity in the continent.

The people's uncivilized approach to requesting their needs has also caused uproar in most African states. 

The lack of faith in their leaders has made the people more aggressive in their approach to request their needs. 

Most African citizens have resorted to violent means to express their frustrations. This has led to increased tension between African governments and their citizens, leading to instability and insecurity in the continent. 

Violence and destruction of property have become a commonplace in most African states as the people express their frustrations towards their leaders. This trend, if not checked, will lead to further insecurity and instability in the continent.

In conclusion, the alarming state of insecurity in Africa is a result of several factors, of which the insensitivity of African leaders to the needs of their citizens and the people's uncivilized approach to requesting their needs are significant. 

African leaders need to be more responsive to their citizens' needs and provide the basic amenities needed to assure their safety and security. 

On the other hand, African citizens should refrain from resorting to violent means in addressing their grievances.

The New Revolution in Africa

Africa is currently in the midst of a new revolution. The revolution is characterized by a drastic change in the political, economic, and social spheres. 

There is a growing wave of discontent among the population which is leading to shedding of blood and unrest in several African states. Countries like Sudan, Congo, Mali, Egypt and Nigeria have all experienced various degrees of turmoil. 

What are the causes of this revolution and its implications for the African continent?

One of the major causes of the new revolution in Africa is selfish ambition. Many African leaders prioritize their personal gain over the well-being of their citizens. They engage in corrupt practices and embezzlement of public funds, which in turn leads to economic distress for the population.

Additionally, such leaders rig elections and manipulate the judiciary to retain power against the will of the people. This has resulted in protests and revolutions in countries like Sudan and Egypt.

Religious ambition is also increasingly fueling unrest in Africa. Religious leaders have become key political figures, manipulating their followers to take to the streets to protest. Extreme religious ideologies are propagated, and those who do not subscribe to them are seen as enemies. This was the case in Mali, where the Muslim extremist group, Ansar Dine, almost seized the capital and imposed Islamic law.

The struggle for political power in Africa is also a significant contributor to the revolution. As elections approach, political leaders engage in hate speech and dangerous propaganda as they fight to maintain power against challengers. This often results in violence and bloodshed, as was the case in Nigeria's 2019 presidential elections.

The new revolution in Africa has far-reaching implications for the continent. It creates a cycle of violence that is perpetuated, leading to the displacement of populations, loss of life and property, and economic stagnation. Conflicts disrupt economic activities such as tourism, agriculture and other vital sectors, exacerbating poverty.

In conclusion, the new revolution in Africa results from selfish, political, religious, and economic ambitions of the elites. Its consequences, however, are felt by the ordinary citizens. 

African leaders should focus on building democratic institutions, fighting corruption and inequality, and promoting peaceful electoral processes. Only then can the continent move towards political, economic, and social stability.

States that have experienced conflict and violence experience economic deterioration as the conflict leads to destruction and interruption of primary economic activities. It causes significant damage to the infrastructure and civilian-owned businesses, resulting in lost employment opportunities and an increase in poverty rates. 

Therefore, promoting peace and stability is vital for economic growth and development.
