Before You Criticize

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. 

This means that you should try to understand and empathize with the person's situation before making any judgments or criticisms. 

By putting yourself in their shoes, you can gain a better perspective on the challenges and difficulties they are facing and be more compassionate.

Things You Must Do Before You Criticize Someone

⛱️ Consider their perspective and background.

⛱️ Ensure that you have accurate and complete information about the situation.

⛱️Ask questions to clarify your understanding.

⛱️ Evaluate your own biases and emotions.

⛱️ Address the behaviour or action rather than attacking the person.

⛱️ Seek to understand their motivations and intentions.

⛱️ Approach the situation with empathy and a desire to help.

⛱️ Consider the potential impact of your criticism on the person and the relationship.

⛱️ Choose an appropriate time and place to have the conversation.

⛱️ Be specific and offer constructive feedback, rather than simply complaining or being negative.
