The Gift of Salvation. The Bible says that we are all sinners and deserve to be punished for our sins. But God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross in our place. When we accept Jesus as our Saviour, we are forgiven of all our sins and given the gift of eternal life. This is grace, because we don't deserve it.
The Holy Spirit. When we become Christians, we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us to grow in our faith, overcome temptation, and live a holy life. He also gives us gifts and talents that we can use to serve God and others. This is grace, because we don't deserve the Holy Spirit's help and empowerment.
Second chances. We all make mistakes, but God is always willing to forgive us and give us second chances. He knows that we are imperfect, and He is patient and loving with us. This is grace, because we don't deserve to be forgiven over and over again.
Answers to prayer. God often answers our prayers in miraculous ways. He heals the sick, provides for our needs, and protects us from harm. This is grace, because we don't deserve God's blessings. He gives them to us freely out of His love.
The beauty of creation. God has created a beautiful world for us to enjoy. The mountains, the rivers, the forests, and the animals are all testimony to His goodness and grace. This is grace, because we don't deserve to live in such a wonderful world.
Here are some specific examples of God's grace in the Bible:
Noah. Noah was the only righteous person on earth in his day. When God decided to destroy the earth with a flood, He saved Noah and his family because they found grace in His eyes.
Abraham and Sarah. Abraham and Sarah were old and childless, but God promised them a son. Even though they doubted God's promise, He kept it anyway because of His grace.
Moses. Moses was a flawed man, but God chose him to lead the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt. God gave Moses wisdom, courage, and strength to do what He had called him to do. This is grace.
David. David was a king who made many mistakes, but God forgave him and used him to accomplish great things. This is grace.
The Apostle Paul. Paul was a persecutor of Christians, but God converted him and saved him. Paul went on to become one of the greatest missionaries of all time. This is grace.
These are just a few examples of God's undeniable grace. He is a gracious God who loves us and forgives us, even when we don't deserve it. He gives us second chances and helps us to grow in our faith. We are truly blessed to have such a gracious God.
